1. Advantages of Aramid filter bags:
1) Performs at high temperatures
Aramid Filter Bags can be used continuously at operating temperatures up to 210ºC.

2) Good abrasion resistance
Flex resistance of aramid filter bag at room temperature is good, about equal to that of polyester fibers, after aging at temperatures of 121°C (250°F) and above its toughness if excellent. Nomex filter bag should give more than three times the wear life of polyester filter bags at 121°C (250°F) and above.

3) Good chemical resistance
Aramid filter bag work well in acid environment, The dust collector system should be warmed before putting on stream and dried before being shut down to minimize chemical attack.

4) Dimensional Stability is good for aramid filter bag.

5) High temperature
The most effective use of aramid filter bag ,aramid filter bag is in high temperature filtration  systems  where effluent temperature are above 190 C degree or in systems with surges over190 C degree. In hot gas filtration systems, aramid filter bag require less filter area, for equal gas volume and efficiencies, better than fiber glass.
