We offers a complete line of fiber bed mist eliminators and systems to abate liquid mist emissions.
The fiber bed mist eliminators, also referred to as fiber bed filters or candle filters, are optimal for removing sub-micron liquid aerosols from gas and air streams.
Ecograce's technologies take extensive facilities seeking to reduce emissions in a wide range of industries and applications.
Fiber bed filters are used to capture and remove liquid and soluble particulate from gas streams. Collection efficiencies as high as 99.9% can be achieved. Air streams and process gases can be made free of pollution or hazard problems and valuable material can be collected even in heavy liquid loading situations.
Application: Fiber bed Mist Eliminator filters are used to capture and remove liquid and soluble particulate from gas streams, widely applied for industry of Sulfuric acid plants, nitric acid plants, and thermal phosphoric acid plants; Chlorine and other chemical plants; Pulp mill; Textile factory; Asphalt saturation tower; Food processing; Chromium plating process; Turbine lubricating oil tank exhaust pipe and plastic molding. Applications containing fluoride, high pH, or steam can use specially made carbon fibers.
Ecograce designs and manufactures fiber bed filters used in a wide range of processing applications and industries to reduce and eliminate liquid mist, aerosol and fume emissions.
Ecograce Fiber bed filters are available in standard or customdesigned configurations designed into new installations or as replacement media solutions for existing systems. Our fiber bed filter elements offer long filter life and simplified maintenance.

HOW IT WORKS
All mist eliminators operate in a similar manner. Gases containing mist particles are directed horizontally through a fiber bed. Particles collect on individual fibers of the bed, coalesce to form liquid films and drain off of the bed by gravity.
Mist Eliminators are adapted to particular specifications from a single filter candle to an entire turn-key project.
